RECAP: After Joe pulled away to meet Elaina Kevin saw a car pull up and realized it was Michelle.Chapter 18: Before she could turn off the car Kevin was opening her door, with the biggest smile on his face. "Hey, Kev" Michelle said, stepping out of the car and giving him a hug. "You look beautiful today" Kevin said, taking her hand and leading her inside. "Okay you keep thinking that, I'm a mess but I had to see you" Michelle said laughing. She had come from a morning class and was wearing a black spaghetti strapped black leotard, with a mesh pink skirt and dance heels. She tossed her fiery red hair back. "Well I'm here, and you're here so what do you need" Kevin asked smiling. "This" Michelle leaned in and kissed him softly, he ran his fingers through her waist-length, wavy hair. (like the girl that played Victoria in Twilight but waist-length) He pulled away awkwardly. "Kevin Jonas, you are so strange!" Michelle said giggling. "You come and surprise me in front of 20 nine-year-old girls and then take me to your concert but don't say a word to me, now you just look petrified" Michelle finished "Well I was embarrassed, you know I kinda just had an adrenalin rush and bolted to see you. When I invited you to the concert I hoped it would give me time to find an explanation for my behavior. I ended up with nothing." Kevin tilted his down. "You don't need an explanation. No offense, but I can read you like a book, I've known you forever." Michelle was beaming. "So your feelings are?" Kevin asked "Are you that dim-sighted?" Michelle responded laughing. "I still don't have an answer Shelly" Kevin said "Yes I like you too, but please never call me Shelly again, it makes me sound like a ten year old" Michelle hugged him tight.(With Chloe) (She had just sent Nick down the ladder to sneak off)"CHLOE WHERE ARE YOU?!" Chloe heard her mom call, anxiety clear in her voice. "I'm in the tree fort mom" she called back. Her mother burst through the french doors, she was carrying a suit case and was wearing sweats and an oversized T-shirt. "What the hell?" Chloe whispered under her breath. "Chloe I'm going home, your father is coming home from Arizona early. Chloe's father was in Arizona on business and her parents were divorced. Her father had full custody and Chloe was supposed to be under the care of Kara for the two months he would be gone. Her mother had come there from her home in San Francisco, to visit briefly, but stayed there with her against Chloe's will, and against the force of the law. She was only legally allowed to visit Chloe on weekends. "Bye, hun I'll see you at Christmas time, anything of mine I left throw away so your father doesn't know I was here" She said. "Bye!" Chloe said. (next day-October 27, I think) "Where's my baby girl?" Chloe heard her father shout from down the stairs. She ran down the steps and jumped into his arms,she hugged him tight. "I missed you daddy" Chloe said. "Oh I missed you too girlie, get down now, you're way to old for this!" Her father said happily. "Daddy I need you to meet someone later today." Chloe said. She went back upstairs and got dressed. She wore a dark purple top with draped sleeve that rested lightly on her shoulders, the color contrasting beautifully with her pale skin, she had a mini skirt and black lace leggings on with it, and zebra print high heels. She called Nick and told him to walk over so he could meet her father. "You need my daddy's approval, you are my first boyfriend, but don't worry, he'll like you" with that they hung up. He arrived 10 minutes later he knocked on the door and Chloe ran cheerfully to answer it. He kissed her cheek and she led him to the living room. "Daddy, this is Nick" She said smiling "Wait, Nick Jonas, that teen rockstar guy you're like obsessed with" He asked "Yeah, well anyway, he lives down the block, and I met him at the mall but he was disguised, then I went to his house and he told me who he really was, then I kissed him, then he got me awesome birthday presents" Chloe continued the list and gave details about the disney audition and everything. "And anyway, now he's my boyfriend and he wanted your approval" Chloe finished, looking at Nick and winking. Nick smiled sweetly, he was nervous. "Well baby girl, if he makes you happy, then he can't be that bad, I know you're hard to impress" Chloe swung her arms back and forth, waiting for a final answer. "Okay I approve, but if you hurt my little girl you will regret it more than you could ever know" Chloe's father said. NIck let out a sigh of relief.
