Dec 3, 2008 - I can't believe you made this. Carnival cruise lines offers something which appears to be this same thing - they call it "chocolate melting cake". Darla will go nutso if she knows I have this recipe - and she'll expect me to make it once a week or more. Either way, thanks for posting this - I think we'll be enjoying this one. ;) -Doug

Dec 3, 2008 - OooooooooooH! Patrick made these for Christmas dinner three years ago. Everyone loved them. Everyone, even the difficult one. Lookit the heart shaped ramekins. They look wonderful, Beth. Isn't that wonderful when all the chocolate flows out of the cake? Beauty. - roc

silverscreamgrl Says:

Dec 3, 2008 - It was....I love that part the best! I don't know why I never bought four ramekins instead of three (there are only three of us, so it made sense at the time). Even the difficult one--now THAT is something.

silverscreamgrl Says:

Dec 3, 2008 - I think I may be calling Ms. Darla soon to let her know you have the recipe hahaha It's so easy, Doug, there is no reason not to make it!

Dec 4, 2008 - Soooooo good but ofcourse I'd watch it right before bed and can't have any chocolate. But oh how I love molten lava cakes. Although its one of those things you can only eat once in a great while...least for me. :)

Dec 5, 2008 - I've always wanted to try that. Looks so simple and easy. Now if only my stove hadn't caught on fire yesterday. :-( Guess I will have to wait a little bit longer. LOL! Thanks for sharing Beth.

Dec 6, 2008 - Hello Chef Beth! Looking good. I may try this closer to Christmas time. I have to make sure I give all of that cheesecake that I made for Thanksgiving a chance to get out of my system, and taste buds.

silverscreamgrl Says:

Dec 6, 2008 - Well Aaron, if I live and breathe! How are you doing? Good, I hope. This was an entry into a contest. It's not as good (in my opinion) as my Shepherd's pie. Not the taste/flavor, as both are good, but in terms of how I did the video.

artofbrowneyedgirl Says:

Dec 8, 2008 - ah I see your point about the cakes from the email. but I think it will be ok. can't wait to see what makes it in!

Dec 9, 2008 - $1000. But I doubt it. They didn't even send me the confirmation receipt.
