Dec 2, 2008 - So sorry to hear about the incision site. One of my incisions was right at my waistband and I didn't feel it rubbing. It ended up forming a small blister. Keeping it covered for a while when you wear jeans is probably a good idea. I hope it heals quickly.

Dec 2, 2008 - Hi Katie, I have an incision that my bra is rubbing and i am trying not to open mine up. I hope you feel better soon and you wound closes up and heals really fast. OK I am going to watch part 2...LOL. Bye!

Dec 2, 2008 - Get some gauze, if you can, and tape it over the wound. That's made a big difference with my pants and I know that's what MJ was doing as well for a while. Or maybe sports bras?? It's totally worth it to try other things - open incisions are icky.

Dec 2, 2008 - Thanks! It's already really on the mend. The biggest bummer is my doc wants me to wait two more weeks before I hit the gym - to make sure it's not too sweaty or doesn't rub against work out clothes. Weird to be restless for the gym - a total first for me - but I'm thinking it will help me focus a tiny bit less on the scale and more on something I have some control over??

Dec 2, 2008 - The sad thing is the sports bra is the one trying to kill me every day. and I am to big to go without, which is my preference, LOL. I am going to tape some gauze over the top incision tomorrow and see if that helps, Thanks for the tip! :)

Dec 3, 2008 - At 6 months out I still have problems with beef, so I just substitute ground turkey for beef in all my recipes! It also took me like till month 4 before I could eat chicken breast although I could it ground chicken. It's all about trial & error, you'll figure it out as you go... You're doing good, Fab
